Seafast Logistics, part of the UK-based Seafast Group, is delighted to announce, on the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen, that is has gained the highly prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the field of International Trade.

Based in Suffolk, UK, Seafast Logistics provides logistics services to a wide variety of customers all over the world, and the award recognises the growth in overseas earnings the company has achieved.  Seafast Logistics was the only company in Suffolk to have won the award this year.

The company works in some of the most difficult and inaccessible parts of the world, providing tailored strategic solutions for the delivery of mission- critical supplies, vehicles and equipment for customers including the UK Government and overseas clients. It focuses on aiming to achieve growth in difficult and emerging markets, and is renowned for its innovation and flair in tackling some of the most intractable logistical problems. Its services are directly tailored to clients needs: combining its strengths in sea, and overland transport with port-based warehousing and distribution capabilities.

Seafast have been recognised within the logistics and transport industry, having gained several awards for their bespoke shipping and logistics operations.  They have been amongst Containerisation International’s winners of “Logistics Company of the Year”, and have been commended by Containerisation International and BIFA in their “Environment Awards”.

The Queen’s Award

The Queens Award is made annually by HM The Queen, and is only given for the highest levels of excellence demonstrated in the categories of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development. It is awarded by HM The Queen, based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. Of the very many applications received, only approximately 160 Queen’s Awards are being announced today, for outstanding business achievement across all three categories.
